Data Deletion Policy

At TetherHost Web LLP ("we", "us", or "our"), we respect your privacy and your rights to control your personal data. This policy outlines how you can request the deletion of your data from the Tether Flow platform and our Meta-integrated services (such as Facebook Login for Business and the WhatsApp Cloud API).
1. How to Request Data Deletion
If you wish to completely delete your Tether Flow account and all associated data, you have two options:
Option A: Automated Deletion via Dashboard (Recommended)
- Log in to your Tether Flow account.
- Navigate to the Settings page via the sidebar.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Delete Account & Data.
- Confirm the deletion request by following the on-screen prompts.
Option B: Email Request
You can send an email requesting data deletion to our privacy team at legal@tetherflow.com. Please include the following information in your request:
- The email address associated with your Tether Flow account.
- Your Workspace name.
- A clear statement that you wish to have all your data deleted.
We will process email requests within 14 days of receipt and will confirm via email once your data has been successfully deleted.
2. Data Removed from Meta Integrations
When you request data deletion, Tether Flow will also sever all connections to your Meta Business accounts. Specifically, we will:
- Revoke any Meta OAuth access tokens associated with your account.
- Delete your stored WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) IDs and Phone Number IDs from our databases.
- Stop receiving webhook events for your numbers.
Please note that to fully remove Tether Flow's access from the Meta side, you can also go to your Facebook Business Manager settings, navigate to Integrations > Connected Apps, and manually remove Tether Flow.
3. What Happens When Your Data is Deleted?
Upon processing your deletion request, the following data will be permanently and irreversibly destroyed from our active servers and backups:
- Your personal user profile (Name, Email, Password hashes).
- Your Workspace settings, Webhook configurations, and API keys.
- All uploaded Contacts, CRM tags, and opt-in histories.
- All message logs, conversation histories, and analytics data.
- All configured automation flows and campaign histories.
4. Data Retention Exceptions
In certain circumstances, we may be legally required to retain specific types of data for a longer period (e.g., invoices for tax purposes, or logs related to a legal dispute). Any data retained under these exceptions will be strictly isolated from further processing and deleted once the legal obligation expires.
